The School of Optometry & Vision Sciences is delighted to welcome you to our new purpose-built building, set within the campus of Cardiff University. Cardiff is the capital of Wales, home to the Millennium Stadium (where Wales’ international rugby team and Grand Slam winners of 2008 play their home matches), Welsh Assembly Government, Wales Millennium Centre (theatre and arts centre) and, of course, site of filming for the BBC series Dr. Who and Torchwood. Indeed, the interior of the optometry building has featured in episodes of both series!
